Day 1 (Chicago - Beijing)
On day 1 we flew into Beijing and just ate and went to bed because we were jet-lagged.

Day 2 (Beijing)
Thursday was action packed and began with Tienimen Square and the Forbidden City followed by the Temple of Heaven and a rickshaw ride through the Hutongs. At night we went to the Peking Opera and my fancy camera came in handy.

Day 3 (Beijing)
On Friday we visit the tombs of the emperors from the Ming Dynasty and then climb the great wall to the top of a hill. Our knees and feet do not recover from this for the rest of the trip.

On Saturday we visited the Summer Palace in the morning and rented a boat for an hour. Then we went to Peking University and hung out with some Students. This was the day we learned how to get around Beijing on the Subway. It was a good time and then w

Day 5 (Beijing - Xian)
We flew in to Xian, which is a pretty cool town. We went to some museum that wasn't very fun. We went out that night to the 1+1 club, but my camrea and nightclubs don't really mix.

Day 6 (Xian)
Today we went to see the Terra Cotta Warriors. Later that night we saw the Tong Dynasty show. It was steve's birthday, so they brought out a cake and it was fun.

Day 7 (Xian - Guilin)
So, Today we go to Guillin, but first we ride bikes on the Xian City wall.

Day 8 (Guilin)
Guilin is a really awesome city and has great scenery. We visited some Landmarks around the town and nearby caves. Everything was so green, all the pictures came out great.
